What is a Buyer’s Agent?
A buyer's agent is a real estate professional who represents the interests of the buyer in a real estate transaction. They help buyers find properties that meet their needs and preferences, negotiate the purchase price and terms, and guide them through the closing process.
They typically work on commission, which is a percentage of the purchase price of the property. They are also legally bound to work in the best interest of the buyer and are different from a seller's agent, who represents the seller in a transaction.
